Hygenica IPC Curtains are manufactured with Fantex® antimicrobial fabric which has rapid Log 3 efficacy and residual activity against a broad spectrum of pathogens. These best in class hospital curtains significantly reduce cross contamination within the hospital environment which decreases the risk of contracting life threatening HAIs. 

Unlike standard disposable curtains or linen curtains which are often contaminated soon after installation, Hygenica IPC Curtains remain free of contamination during use as they kill 99.9% (Log 3) of pathogens in under one minute. The best in class speed of kill provided by Fantex® antimicrobial fabric effectively inhibits the transfer of pathogens to interacting hands, and many Hygenica hospitals report reduced infection incidence.

Colors

Hygenica IPC Curtains are available in seven colors, designed to bring a fresh and bright look to any patient ward. These disposable antimicrobial hospital curtains enhance hospital aesthetics and create a more soothing environment for a better patient experience.

Hook Types

A comprehensive range of hook types are available so that hospital curtains can be quickly and easily fitted to existing curtain tracks with minimal disruption or costly adaptations. Hygenica’s FastTrack hooks allow hospital curtains to be changed in one minute, compared to the twenty minutes taken for linen curtains. Robust and ultrasonically welded, hooks are easy to fit and glide smoothly along tracks due to the low resistance design.

E-fit

E-fit hooks are suitable for use on 75% of UK tracking systems. These hooks are quick and easy to fit onto existing curtain tracks.

U-fit

U-fit or Universal fit hooks are suitable for use on existing hooking systems. U-fit hooks are suitable for most common curtain rails found in GP surgeries.

C-fit

C-fit hooks are an alternative for non-standard tracking. They allow Hygenica curtains to be used with C-fit style curtain tracks without the costly capital outlay for replacing curtain tracks.

J-fit

J-fit hooks are designed to be used specifically with CS tracking or tracking with wide openings.

Fantex® Antimicrobial Fabric

Fantex® hospital curtains rapidly kill a broad spectrum of bacteria, viruses and molds to Log 3 (99.9%) efficacy within one minute. Fantex’s unique mode of action ensures that pathogenic microorganisms are killed quickly upon contact. This speed of kill greatly reduces the risk of pathogens being transferred to hands, preventing the cross-contamination that leads to the spread of HAIs.

Shower Curtains

Hygenica’s self-disinfecting shower curtains are also available to ensure shower cubicles also benefit from the added protection of Fantex®. Hygenica’s shower curtains are available to purchase in the same color and size range as the bed curtains.

All curtains come with a standard drop of 2m but custom drops are also available to order:

  • – Standard – 4.5m wide (3.60m useable width)
  • – Medium – 3.6m wide (2.80m useable width)
  • – Small – 2.4m wide (1.80m useable width)
